The large majority of our Hake is caught in Cornish waters. The flesh is quite soft, but firms up when cooking, and has good meaty flavour. It’s fast becoming a popular substitute for Cod as it’s cheaper and holds together well when deep-frying.

Available all year round but best from June to March.
